On Nov. 9, join Stephen A. Pike (Gowling WLG), Rosa van den Beemt (BMO Global Asset Management) and Charlotte Lombardi (Millani) for a discussion on what this legislation means for Canadian issuers and investors.

Is COVID-19 Affecting ESG Integration?
A Canadian Investor Perspective

The COVID-19 crisis has impacted every industry of the Canadian economy, but what will be the effects on ESG, responsible investment and sustainable finance? Given the substantial shifts in global capital markets over recent months, Millani set out to understand if and how the sentiment or approach of Canada's largest investors had been adapted. This study provides the Canadian investor perspective and related implications for financial stakeholders, management teams and corporate issuers, namely on the potential cost and ability to access capital. In addition to publishing a report, Millani presented the study's findings in a recorded webinar which can be viewed below.
