Margarita has over 13 years of experience ranging from investment strategy in pension funds to equity analysis, as well as business development and data analytics. Most recently, she was a Director at CIBC Capital Markets where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of major Latin American banks seeking to improve their currency conversion technology, with $60MM in annual revenue.
Prior to CIBC, Margarita spent 10 years in the financial sector in Mexico, where she held positions as Head of Equity Strategy at Finamex Brokerage House, Portfolio Manager and Trader at MetLife Pension Fund and Senior Risk Management Consultant at Pension Fund XXI-Banorte. Margarita developed a deep understanding of the investment process and fundamental analysis as a result of these experiences.
Margarita holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master in Business Administration from McGill University.
